Support
Something not working, or a question the FAQ doesn’t answer? I’m glad to help.
It helps if you include
- Your iPhone model and iOS version.
- The app version (in the app: Settings, then About).
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
Please don’t send your reports or exports unless I ask. Your days are private.
Quick fixes
Today’s country is not showing
Open the app. It checks the country each time you open it. In the app, go to Settings, then Location. If it says Off, tap Open Settings and allow location. You can also tap Record today’s country now. Looking up the country needs Wi-Fi or mobile data. Until a new reading comes in, days count as the last known country.
A new country only showed up when I opened the app
With location set to While Using the App, the app only checks when it is open, so the days before that kept the last country. If you would like the app to notice a new country while it is closed, set location to Always in the iPhone Settings app. To fix the days already counted, tap each one and choose the right country.
A day shows the wrong country
Tap the day on the calendar, choose the right country, add a short note and tap Save with receipt. Location will not change that day again, and later days with no reading of their own follow the country you chose.
I see days I never spent, like Italy or France
Demo Mode is on. It fills in sample days so you can see how the app looks. In Settings, turn off Demo Mode, then tap Remove unedited demo days. Your real days are not touched.
I’m getting a new iPhone
The app does not use iCloud sync. Your days move with a normal iPhone backup and restore, or with Quick Start when you set up the new phone. To be safe, also tap Download my data in Settings and keep the files somewhere you trust.
I need a copy of my days
Tap Generate report under the calendar, or go to Settings, then Your data. Send the PDF and CSV files wherever you like, for example to your accountant.
I can help with how the app works, but I can’t give tax, legal or immigration advice. For questions about residency or day-count rules, please talk to a qualified advisor.
